It's much more fun cooking for more than one. It's a very common situation. I lose interest in cooking when alone. Hey if we didn't have to eat we'd all be millionaires!

Try getting used to cooking less my measuring the food. It happens to me all the time because I have a big family, I cook for nine people a day. That's how I do sometimes when cooking less. For example, I cook 6 cups of rice a day if I'm going to cook for 2 people I try measuring about 2 cups. I hope this has helped.

it's actually quite inefficient cooking for one. The times are shorter so following recipes is harder, plus portion-wise, things such as vegetables will go off if you just cook one portion at a time.

Accept it, cook for two or three, and then put what's left in containers to eat another time.

If you grew up cooking for more than one it's a matter of re educating to cut back portions, failing that ...cook your normal divide the amount and but half back in the fridge or freezer to reheat for another meal

because it's easier to cook more all at once. I'd take a good 3 hours on saturday or sunday and cook for the whole week, and freeze some of it. Or just buy TV dinners.

Its usually easier to cook for two or more! You would use less spices and other condiments in the long run.

Another reason, is you wouldn't be forced to eat or throw out the leftovers

Go ahead and make food for two. Freeze one portion and you have a quick microwave meal for another day.

your eyes must be bigger than your stomach!!!.......think realistic on how much your going to actually eat and than cook it...when i buy meat in club packs I separate it into individual freezer bags so I'm not forced to cook more than I can swallow....hope that helps
