You know, just met up with them because you thought it was a good idea at the time. How did it work out?

No, I haven't ever met up with anyone from online. But maybe if they were all as hot as you I would reconsider LOL j/k I mean I would love to but the possible dangers are more than enough to make me think twice.

I haven't met anyone from Yahoo! Answers, but when I was single and on AOL I met up with many people. It wasn't "lame" like some might say, but it was fun. I did play it safe though and met in a public place and always let my girlfriends know where and with whom I was meeting. Most people on line are just normal, everyday people imho.

I don't think that's a good idea, you don't know who you're are talking to. I think it's better to go to Yahoo personals or some singles mingle at your church or a singles dance because on here there are some pervs, both men & women and you don't find that out right away!

Not from yahoo answers but thru chat. I even went to another country to meet him. Stayed almost a month there. It was the greatest time I've ever had. Not sorry I made the trip. Sorry I came back!

I met someone from Yahoo! Personals. He only lived 15 minutes away. And it was awkward, we don't really talk anymore.

almost got convinced into doing it, then i turned chicken and changed my yahoo ID. i think that was one of the best decisions i have ever made...imagine what could have been headline news
