Perhaps it is misunderstanding. Many Christians think that every person conceivably can see the truth. So we keep trying even if you say we are fools. You see we stand to gain your friendship for all eternity if your eyes do see and ears do hear.

If that is what he really believes, does that make him an idiot?

Instead, let's look at your question. The definition of idiot is : 1. An utterly foolish or senseless person. 2. A person of the lowest order in a former classification of retardation, having a mental age of less than 3 years and an intelligence quotient under 25.

So you chose the wrong word in your question; you have a lack of communication skills.

Billy Graham disagrees with you; this man who has lived as pure a life as a man can live in this society says one thing and you say another. If I put your qualifications up against his, just educationally speaking, which of you outshines the other? Yeah, Billy Graham.

You have a definite paranoid streak, you believe that even the true men and women of God use propaganda.

So, given all the above, who is the idiot? You or Billy Graham?

It's a little of both actually. Weighted differently depending on the source of course. In the case of BG I'm willing to bet it's more misunderstanding that leads to propaganda.

Billy Graham is no idiot, but he speaks the truth and that is why it upsets you like it did. There is no such thing as a non believer. All humans eventually believe in God, Even satan believes in God's exhistance. What the non believer refuses to do is obey God's laws and accept His son Jesus as thier savior. This is a fact. There will come a day when every one of the "non belivers" will all bow down to God and call upon His name. and it will happen in our lifetime. When I use the term "non believer" I am not referring to someone who does not believe in God, because everyone believes He exhists or they would not be so determined to proove He doesnt'. I am referring to their non belief in God's laws and refusal to obey them.

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

I think his old age is breaking down his ability to think straight. He should leave the preachin' and teachin' to his less effective son.

I think he's more of an 'or what', leaning towards a 'WHY?'
