Why do people with ginger hair get the p**s taken out of them all of the time?

Ginger is the best , lets be realistic there are some really ugly gingers but there are uglies with every hair colour.
Being one I know this to be true.
When i was younger i always wanted to be blonde even though everyone always told me my hair was so lovely.
I never believed this but now know it to be true.
I'm thirty with red hair and never had to go to the hairdressersto get my roots done as I'm 100 % natural
Proud to be ginger!!

This is an illusion, perpetrated by the media. Ginger haired people are no more likely to have the mickey taken than fat, ugly, disfigured, handicapped, dwarfs, or any other form of difference from what you perceive as normal.
In my personal experience as a red head, bullies look for a difference and tease you about it. You respond with like, or you ignore their ignorance. If the bullying becomes physical, you hit a bully hard first time and he doesn't do it again.
Ginger hair was rarely the reason for any bullying I encountered. Bullying is usually about asserting dominance for the weak minded, and insecure. It is usual that for those who wish to achieve power and dominance using this method may succeed for a while, but ultimately they always fail as their weaknesses are exposed.
A bully relies on the strengths of a sharp tongue or manipulative and devious nature. This is also where the weakness of bully lies!

well unfortunatly there are some very shallow and iugnorant people out there that cant see past the stereotypes of what is classed as "beautiful". Fortunatly there are people outh there who see the true beauty of the person, and, this is just my opinion alone, i think that people with red not ginger hair are lucky i hate my boring plain hair!

because gingers are an indagered species so there arent so many about anymore so when people see them they are different and like to take the piis its all good crack dont take it to heart ,gotta say for some reason most red haired ladies are hot especialy with long hair.be proud to be a ginge.

Its all to do with their pubic hair. some ginger people have ginger pubes and people like to take the piss out of it. yeah its funny but it gets really tiresome after a while. people like to point out differences coz of their own insecurities, people need to grow up really!

i went to public school a lot once and i got my head shoved in a hole,an my **** kicked by bullies an top boys
because i was ginger,they are all new labour politicians now! and are still doing it, only paying for the privilidge
chris evans was beasted the other week by tony blair
an that bloke who lives in the millenium dome,infact i think they did it at the millenium dome,it goes on quite a bit!

I love having red hair. The only time I suffered from it was in 4th grade when my mom gave me a horrible perm and I looked like Little Orphan Annie. I got teased a lot but after I entered high school it was nothing but an asset.

I think people with ginger hair rock. My cousin is never taken advantage of b/c people think she's tough.
