Loving someone else is quite difficult, but is it the most difficult task? No, because love is a manifestation naturally outpouring from attention. Developing the attention to a high degree through meditation is the work. The task is to be fully attentive to all beings in the present moment. This is the most difficult task. To fully be in the present moment is to fully be love and act with love for the benefit of all we encounter. Namaste.

As for the quote, pass reproduction it superbly onto a paintings of posterboard and use it as suggestion to carry doing what it teaches. For even if the regular to communicate those words change into once a draw close kung fu turtle, or Eleanor Roosevelt, or a poet, or Confucius, or some unknown guy or lady lost to historic previous... the meaning continues to be as tremendous because the words are gorgeous. develop with them.

In my opinion, the quote is right! Sometimes it is extremely difficult to love another. We all feel right in our own ways; so sometimes those who view things contrary to us, seem difficult to understand; therefore it's challenging to even like them. It takes a real God like effort to love those who do harm to others, and at some time in the future, we just might be put to that test...
( by God, of course) ...so I think this will be our ultimate test...

depends upon the circumstances as many people may love each other in their own group of family and friends. they may have a little more difficult in loving those " outsiders " who are not part of the group to begin with until a certain amount of time passes when the newcomers are accepted into the group. the group then works in unison for the betterment of the whole which in turns helps each individual member.

The most difficult task I've ever faced is the death of someone I loved. He was my father. The love part was easy.

To love one another is one of the things God wants us to be able to do. To love others as He Himself loves us. But I believe the most difficult task for us humans to do is to obey God's laws and fear Him. The majority of the world's population could not care less about Him and his laws, let alone obey Him.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

I think it is partially correct. Some other people are easy to love. It is hardest to love those who have done you an injustice or who have done terrible things in their lives. Can it be easy to love a terrorist? No. However, that is what Jesus has charged us to do. I am struggling HARD with that one right now. It's going to take lots of preparation for me to get past that.

Yes it is!
Why? 1 Cor 13:1-13 says about this love
"v.1- I may speak in the languages of humans and of angels. But if I don't have love, I am a loud gong or a clashing cymbal.
v.2- I may have the gift to speak what God has revealed, and I may understand all mysteries and have all knowledge. I may even have enough faith to move mountains. But if I don't have love, I am nothing.
v.3- I may even give away all that I have and give up my body to be burned. But if I don't have love, none of these things will help me.
v.4- Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn't jealous. It doesn't sing its own praises. It isn't arrogant.
v.5- It isn't rude. It doesn't think about itself. It isn't irritable. It doesn't keep track of wrongs.
v.6- It isn't happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth.
v.7- Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up.
v.8- Love never comes to an end. There is the gift of speaking what God has revealed, but it will no longer be used. There is the gift of speaking in other languages, but it will stop by itself. There is the gift of knowledge, but it will no longer be used.
v.9- Our knowledge is incomplete and our ability to speak what God has revealed is incomplete.
v.10- But when what is complete comes, then what is incomplete will no longer be used.
v.11- When I was a child, I spoke like a child, thought like a child, and reasoned like a child. When I became an adult, I no longer used childish ways.
v.12- Now we see a blurred image in a mirror. Then we will see very clearly. Now my knowledge is incomplete. Then I will have complete knowledge as God has complete knowledge of me.
v.13- So these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the best one of these is love.

c) Was it easy to love and forgive those who do you wrong?
This is a very difficult task to do for those who does not have love in their heart. To be able to do this, put on Jesus Christ who has the kind of love mentioned in "1Cor 13:1-13"
