Yes go ahead but do drop hints first because you don't want to spoil the friendship. Also make sure that you and he are both available at the moment, not with someone else. You could ask him out on a date, for dinner and a movie and then invite him for coffee later on. Whatever you do, take it slow because moving from friends to lovers can be a bit difficult at times.

Id only do that if you think the feelings are reciprocated somewhat.
If he doesnt feel the same way back you risk loosing the bond ye have now as he may feel too awkward around you knowing that you want him.
If you think theres a hope there - then yeah definately go for it.
If you wanted to suss out the situation maybe next time you're hanging out talking about dates and stuff - just casually ask him how come we never got it together? You should be able to tell by his reaction if he'd be for or against it. Good luck!

Well if you feel he might feel the same way you do try to bring the subject up and express what you feel, but if you think it might not work out, or that he might not see you in that way, then I say forget him, trust me it's not worth losing a great friendship of 5 years over something that probably won't work, do you think it's worth losing an old friend over something you're not sure of? That's the question you should ask yourself, if it's worth it! Good Luck

You know, that's a difficult situation to be in. I feel it depends greatly on what you expect or wish the outcome to be. If you're ok with a possibly uncomfortable answer from him...and are willing to "let it go" and remain as you are now...then I say go for it....but...If you really do care for the guy....you may want to sit quietly and patiently wait for some sort of noticed feelings on his side. Again, a difficult situation...depends entirely on each of you personally! Good luck...and let me know!

Sit him down and say... I dig your beef hunny. And thats how you do it. If he is any kind of a friend to you he will accept it graciously, and if he doesn't feel the same then say you couldn't keep it in any longer and you glad that its off your chest, then make as if it didn't happen.

You have got nothing to be scared of the worst thing he can do is tell you he doesnt feel the same, if if your friends then he wont hold it against you.

Ask him if he knows someone who has stopped being a friend for someone telling him that they're in love with him
That way you'll know what he'll think and what will his reaction be..
---And you'll know what to do!!!!
Couse who knows, he may feel the same for you and thinks that he'll spoil your friendship......JUST LIKE YOU!
Good Luck.-

I would say it depends on how well u get on ....if u think that u'd both still be friends if it turns out that he doesnt feel the same ...then do it ...u've got nothing to lose then!
