If you are looking to stay in the Gold Family, one alternative would be a Antique Bass Look. I think it is a classic, and it adds a little character to a room. But if you are into the new Decor Fab, pewter or silver is the hot item these days. I still think you should please yourself first and love the things in your home, no matter what the Fab, or what anyone else thinks.

When you look at a room, can you visulize where the windows doors etc are? Walk into a room and check where everything is and walk out. Take a piece of paper and draw that room from memory. Once you can see all the things in the room from memory, then you can start to size each piece of the furnishings.
