oh that's so cute. Ive studied animal care and through the birth you should be on stand by in case of any problems. regular vet appointments must be made to check she is pregnant and everything is going OK with her and pups. some dogs manage fine on there own through the birth but most need some help. remember to feed her a diet suitable for a pregnant and lactating ***** this will give her and pups the correct amount of nutrient etc hope this help and good luck.

Pugs are known for having difficulties with pregnancies. Especially the labor process. TAKE HER TO THE VET. It shouldn't matter what the cost is if you truly care about your pug. Besides that, if you have a decent vet, he/she would want what is best for your dog and would work out something for the bill. Please, please take your pug to your vet, or at the very least have the vet do a physical on her to make sure everything is fine. Get your vet's opinion on if she should stay home for the labor. Regardless, you need to be there, don't leave her alone.

Under no circumstances leave a dog alone when having pups, expecially small breeds as they can have breech births and you will literally have to pull the pup, also too long inbetween delivering pups can also mean you have a problem such as an oversized pup or what is known as a waterhead pup that won't come down thru the birth canal, in this case if there are still other pups in her they could all die and the mother is at risk of getting infection if all the pups are not delivered in a timely fashion.
Take her to the vet, he or she can tell you if she is going to have pups or not. Normal gestation for female dogs is 63 to 65 days from breeding.

How can you "believe" your pug is going to have puppies? Have you NOT taken her to the vet for a checkup? You should have an approx delivery date. Dogs can birthe on their own but it's nice for you to be there and help... clean and get rid of the mess to cut back on smell and possible bacteria...

Your dog may need to have a c-section as pugs are one of the breed who sometimes have problems with the pups head being to large to pass through the birth canal. Many are delivered by c-section. I would not leave this type of dog alone to have the pups as she may need help or emergency surgery.
Also if you are not sure she is pregnant have her checked by the vet.

Because of the size and shape of a Pugs head, it is very common for them to have to welp their puppies by C-section.
This means that a trip to the vet is defitnetlly the order of the day!!!

Never-ever allow a Pug to welp unattended!!! The chances of loosing your dog are well over 50-50

Pugs are one of thoes "designer breeds" from the past and they have special needs because of it.

Are you sure you would like to have a WhateverPoo ????

She will need help! Pugs cannot brake the sack that the puppy is in because of there sumched in face. So eather you will have to or you will have to take her to the vet. And once they are out of the sack then you will have to tye and cut the embilical cord. It soulds grouss and I thought it was untill I had to do it for my parents pug when she when in to labor. And when you see her try to do that and she can you just react and it feels good to help deliver them and then when they get bigger they get comical. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Cute, I suggest you take her to the vet to see if she is really pregnat or just getting too much biscuts. If you want to watch the birth of your new puppys (wich would be magical) stay home with her and give her lotsa attention. The only reason i dont want you to bring your dog to the vet because my dog died in the vet but she wasnt pregnat. only 2 but had the insides of a 15 year old. well see you later

I think she will be ok by herself but u can also take her to the vet if she experiences some difficulty.A few weeks after birth, u may wanna take her for a checkup and maybe u wanna give the pupies an injection to prevent diseases or things like that.

I don't think it's a good idea to leave her alone. Just to be on the safe side, I would take her to the vet to make sure she's pregnant and have her examined to make sure everything is ok. Good Luck!
