A combination of breathing and meditation exercises and self relaxation techniques can and does work for me now. When I was going through tempestuous times in my life, meds were better. Some times just talking with a neutral person can help.

I have had that problem and tried to deal with it on my own, but that is not a good thing. I am not saying that you need to take meds but a doctor needs to know what is going on with you.
a anxity attack can lead to a heart attack if it is sever enough.so see a doctor and tell them that you want to try other alternatives to meds and let them advice to you what is the best

I think anxiety and depression are best treated in most people by themselves with help from family and friends
