it wasnt meant to be anti muslim i was just surprised by it as i dont pretend to know a lot about history and came across an article about palestinians joining the ss.something to do with wiping israel of the face of the earth or something similiar.

Muslim countries before WW2 were mostly colonized by EUropean, French, Americans, Spaniards, and no strong Muslim countries that time of WW2. Most Middle East Countries were under French colony or British colonies and these countries were lately got their freedom after WW2.. The role of Middle east countries were limited to support allied forces and their soils were being used as their military bases....Not alongside of the Nazis but to fought against Nazi's of Hitler.

Islam is a religion of peace and even if Hitler actually had any divisions formed of soldiers from Muslim countries, common sense says that they were fighting along his side for a political pupose not a religious one. What is really difficult to understand about it?? and why choose the label 'Muslims'?? :)

The Catholic Church hid the Nazis after the war. many muslim fought against the Nazis and Japanese. Hitler is a Christian. The Japanese Emperor is most probably Buddist. Mussolini is Catholic. What are you talking about?
