No. His family said that he died doing something that he loved and that he would have had it no other way - other than probably dieing old and laying in bed. He got to be with the animals and I think that made him happy. maybe god was just trying to let him enjoy what he enjoys most in life before taking him to himself.

Steve Irwin? Same guy who poked reptiles with pointy sticks to get them riled? Same guy who fed a hungry croc at the side of a wet swimming pool, one month old baby carelessly tucked under one arm? Same guy who when questioned regarduing this incident, started screaming like a metal patient about "giant meteors" hitting Australia to change the subject? What goes around comes around. He didn't care much about nature or the safety of his kids. It's because of him, there are no decent nature programmes, it's all: "Natures Deadly killers" or: "100 top extreme poisonous snakes". If God is so evil, and Irwin is so good - why don't you set up your own religion based on him? Seriously. You can sacrifice stingrays on the altar and poke lizards with sticks all you want then!

no as it proves Steve Irwin is mortal. we are all going to die sooner or later and leave this plane of existence for another where we will continue to learn and teach in a different way. when one has completed the assigned task or duty assigned to be completed here one moves on, which is what Steve Irwin did.

No. It proves that sting rays can be dangerous. Steve Irwin's ocupation was dangerous. He knew that and chose to take the risk.

No of course not. Steve died because of an accident, an animal killed him. This is an evil world that we live in and many, many bad things happen - But God is love, peace, joy. Satan is the evil one and is lurking about to destroy, kill, bring disharmony to this world.

your god maybe. i have thought about it for some time now and from my perspective, he committed suicide.
I am concerned when I see God's name used in vain.
Steve took life threatening risks for pleasure.
This contradicts the natural inclination of the human being to preserve and perpetuate his life. It is gravely contrary to the just love of self. It likewise offends love of neighbour because it unjustly breaks the ties of solidarity with family, nation, and other human societies to which we continue to have obligations. These kind of life threatening actions are contrary to love for the living God.
Would someone from the Church please come out in this time of public grief to explain these things?
It is time we balanced our worship and idolisation of our "just do it", "the devil may care", "at least I will die doing what I love" or "a life lived in fear is a life half lived" attitudes.
We all morn the losses, but it is not correct to assume that God has forsaken us.
We must teach our children that every action has a consequence and must as individuals and as society learn to accept the ramifications of our "immortal" attitude and our contempt for the sanctity of life.

No, it just proved that the law of probability usually catches up with people who put themselves in harms way all the time.
But I agree with the guy who said this has to be the dumbest question so far.

No.
But Steve flirted with death practically on a daily basis.
Heard the old saying 'Keep playing with fire and eventually you'll get burned"?
Sad to say, that is what happened to him.
Don't blame God.

I don't believe in a god. It just proves that if you mess with nature you've got to accept the risks.
