japaneese are whaling a few times a year for 'scientific' purposes and refuse to stop and opposed to international diplomacy for protection
the price of whale has been $15/lb there and recently gone down to $12 as japan has moved from loophole to blatant disregard.

I think it's the puffa fish, it's poisonous and costs around $1000 for a serving, it's very difficult to prepare and chefs need a special licence to prepare it, it is a Japanese delicacy.

the puffer fish i guess..very expensive stuff..and yea only licensed chef can prepare them coz if u cut it even the slightest bit wrong u could die almost immediately..but apparently its absolutely delish.

That blowfish stuff in Japan. It's also very deadly if it's not cooked a certain way.
