While there are no statistics about it, I tend to think there could be an element of truth in it. A lot of men want to nurture and care for someone...When a woman is beautiful, they usually have a lot more confidence and dont usually need a man as much as a not so beautiful woman. I think in a mans mind, the more beautiful the woman the more insecure they would feel because the woman would be looked at by other men and may find someone else.
I know a man who is married to the ugliest fattest woman I have seen. She has a horrible personality to boot. But she needs him and he feels responsible for her. Maybe being with an ugly woman feeds a mans ego. I know if I was him I would feel embarrassed to be seen out in public. Men are pretty insecure creatures a lot of the time.

if the man involved for other reasons to stop liking her besides the fact she is pretty and he actually bored of her in other ways.i don't see why not as is clearly seen is this case that there isn't the pity factor comming from the man because is acknowledge for both that from the beauty point of view she won't have trouble finding others.so from that point of view is entirely possible.but very unlikely as most men would like to keep a gorgeous woman around them no matter what, but besides that i agree that they will be left with even less regrets than the ordinary woman as there is no reason to really feel pity to them as they know they have 100 guys after her just standing next to him.so i could say i think is a yes true but only on that posotion.

In a way it is true, because of two reasons...
1. Beautiful women are USUALLY full of attitude or problems that put guys off.
2. The guy knows that the woman can easily find another guy using her looks.
I hope this helps.

No it's a dumb generalization. Regrets have little to do with how someone looks in your eyes, but all the more with how they make you feel. And I don't mean the more superficial feelings you get from how your other looks.
