The questions you need to ask yourself before employing are:
1. Is there a special skill applicable to the job-in-hand? Is the skill or knowledge specific to your region? Or, is the skill & knowledge universally found?
2. Are the imported immigrants skilled enough to do the job? If not, can they be trained at a low cost so that they can perform to your satisfaction?
3. Does long-term employment matter? This maybe applicable in case your job has a learning curve and you do want to lose your knowledgeable employee to leave in a short time?
4. After taking into account all costs, including hidden and long-term, who is cheaper? Be careful to account not only for hiring costs but also retaining costs and monitoring costs. Monitoring costs will be indirectly directly proportionate to the level of honesty.
Getting employees at half the cost is not the only important factor in hiring people.

Welp, lesee... you hire people from your own nation, then unemployment will decrease, meaning more people can pump money into the economy, meaning more people to buy your products, meaning your company (as a whole) gets pay raises, meaning they can buy even more of your products, and so on.

You hire immigrants, and pay half the expected wage, then unemployment will stay the same, meaning your profits do not increase, meaning no one gets pay raises (or worse, there are pay cuts, as other products you need for your business increases in price!), meaning, in the long run, your own business suffers from your lack of contribution to the economy.

For many reasons...one of which, what will happen when they are done using you for your wages under the table? They will leave and you are out an "employee". This is fine if you suppose you can just hire another illegal. Fact is (and I dont care who says they "work so well") they dont care about the job, just the money, will do a shitty job and leave you high and dry.

Two of which...what if they do something stupid like cut off their hand while they are working? lol

Three of which...what happens when you, the employer, gets caught? Are you prepared for that world of ****?

Four, five, six, seven, eight, etc., etc. of which...

It's called "investing in the future", instead of "digging your own grave". You might find that wages everywhere go down, and there will be no more housing left. Eventually you will have to sleep on your shop floor with 20 or 30 Polacks. Charming, eh?

I suppose if you are in business that appears to be a good move. Most countries' infrastructure was - and is being built- on cheap labor. Immigrants are very hard-working folks.

because you have to employ those in need of jobs in your country 1st , plus the immigrant won't be loyal as much as the citizen
