I'm 7 days late for my period today, but that is the only symptom of pregnancy I'm showing. If I am pregnant then I have been for about a month. My boyfriend and I used protection, and used it correctly. No leaks, no rips, no tears. I'm also very worried/stressed about it because i'm only 16, and my boyfriend is 17. I know now that "if I didn't want to risk it, I shouldn't have had sex..." so please don't post any negative responces, just give me advice. I'm taking a test tomorrow, and I'm also very nervous about that. Could I be pregnant? or am I just freaking out?

Good to hear I don't need to waste my time giving you a lecture.
It's always possible for pregnancy to occur if you're having sex. If you're a week late, at 16, it could be anything that's making your schedule off. Menstrual cycles for many, aren't always dead on 28 dayers, especially when you're a very young woman. Take the test, hope for the best, expect anything. Double up on your contraception by getting yourself on birth control.
THANKS! for not being another one of those 16 year olds that doesn't bother with an ounce of prevention.

When practicing sex there is always that risk you can get pregnant, but from the sound of it you've been careful and it's probably unlikely that you are, getting stressed about it could make your period late.
Your best thing would be to take a pregnancy test, or go see your doctor, maybe once you've put your mind at ease your period might start.
Whatever the result, I wish you the best of luck.

ur menstrual period still may be adjusting and becoming more routine with time, being 7 days late with what u described doesnt mean u r pregnant, but if r taking a test will make u feel more comfortable u should.
there are certain times when u could definetly avoide sex if u r not ready for pregnancy. it depends on regularity of ur period. if u regular, 28-31 days, dont have sex after day 14-20 between period. count start with 1st day of ur period. the ovulation occurs between the days i specified.
good luck.

If you are only 7 days late it might be too early to detect anything. You might have to wait 2 two to get any true results from the pregnancy test kit. The wait will be very long and worrying. If you've had protection all the time it might be a false alarm. Test in the morning using your first urine. It is also too early for any pregnancy symtoms.

Read This:
The FDA is proposing that latex condom packaging carry labels noting that condoms don't provide perfect protection against pregnancy, HIV, or sexually transmitted diseases.
The proposals state that using latex condoms can reduce -- but not eliminate -- the risk of pregnancy and transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
The proposals also address latex condoms containing the spermicide nonoxynol-9. According to the FDA, that spermicide may irritate the vagina or rectum, which could increase the chances of contracting HIV from an HIV-infected partner.
In addition, the proposals note that condoms leave some male genital skin exposed, which could permit transmission of herpes or other STDs.
The proposals haven't been approved yet. A draft of the proposals is posted on the FDA's web site.
Expert's Perspective
Lawrence Friedman, MD, director of adolescent medicine at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, spoke with WebMD about the proposed labeling and condom use.
"I think people realize that nothing is forever or always or 100%," Friedman tells WebMD. "It is true that condoms don't prevent fully all of the possible STDS or other germs that could be transmitted through sex."
Still, Friedman says he would "definitely recommend, with exclamation points and underlines, the use of condoms for vaginal, oral, and anal contact."
"Even with these few shortcomings, the condom still is important for reducing the chances of causing a pregnancy or having sexually transmitted infections and HIV," Friedman says.
Friedman says condoms must also be used stored and used properly, before the expiration date, to be effective.

i doubt ur pregnant its really really unlikely that you are is there a chance that u have miscalculated you period remeber u go from the 1st day of the last count 28 days for a normal cycle. It could also be that you havn't ovulated which can happen, so therefore u won't get ur period. I'd wait for another week or 2 and see what happens. But I seriously don't believe your pregnant

The soreness on your arm sounds like that could be a result from the tetanus shot, which may well be painful. the indicators you're describing do no longer sound like HIV indications, yet having mentioned that individuals can stay with HIV for years without even understanding it by way of fact they are asymptomatic. you're purely going to could wait patiently to your try outcomes. i be responsive to it incredibly is hard to do, yet there is no factor speculating. additionally, remember there is life afeter an excellent analysis. And if the analysis is unfavorable, use this entire journey as a studying journey on no account to have unprotected intercourse with somebody back, till you have the two been examined for STDs and HIV.
