Are you homeschooled? If so, you should still have plenty of time for sports because they don't usually start until after school hours anyway. I know quite a few homeschoolers here that are huge into soccer and football so unless you live in an unfriendly to homeschool area, you should jump on the chance to play.
As a homeschooler you benefit by already having your work done throughout the day. And, although studying is important you have to allow yourself to have fun. People that are workaholics are some of the most miserable people I've ever run across and that they never allow themselves opportunities to play, is not good on the heart or for the body.
It is YOUR DREAM...GO FOR IT!!! :-) And, good luck finding a team if you decide to play.

Study while you pursue your dream.
if you refer football as your dream, than it seems that if you study and not do football, you will forever dream of doing football no matter where you end up.
just my opinion.
hope this helps

Football is for a season. Learning is for a lifetime. If you have to choose, choose knowledge.
