I'm off to Southern Ireland (Kilkenny) next week and I need to make sure that I can use my Solo card over there?
Does anybody know?

If the card is badged as a Solo and nothing else, you won't be able to use it outside the UK. It may be badged as a Maestro or Cirrus card as well as a Solo card, in which case you will be able to use the card outside the UK where you see Maestro/Cirrus symbols. You really need to speak to your bank if you are unsure.

On the back of your card you should have a couple of symbols. I have got a Solo Card, on the back is the Maestro/cirrus Symbol, if the same symbol appears on any shop door/window you can use it anywhere.

You need to check with your bank about the type of card. If you have a current account it'll probably work fine in ATMs. But Nat West will probably charge you for using it.

Only if you're there.
