Christians say that God created Adam and Eve about 6 thousand years ago. Okay so explain how that is possible when there are remains of human bones that are about 3 1/2 million years old. Her name is lucy? It does not make sense how you can believe that the bible is the one true word but science can show you diffrently.
If somebody can explain how the bible can be right and the science is right. I just would like to see a christian explain it and it make sense

i would go with science. even our record history is about 5000 BCE there is no reason we human present on this world just 500 BCE old.

indications of a recent creation date:
POPULATION STATISTICS- if man appeared over 1 million yrs ago, the present world population would be thousands of times greater than it actually is. in fact, our entire galaxy couldnt provide the needed space for so many.
THE AMOUNT OF HELIUM-4 IN THE ATMOSPHERE- this suggests that our atmosphere is less than 15,000 yrs old.
THE ABSENCE OF METEORITE DUST- some 15 million tons of nickel meteorite dust settle to earthe each year. if earth has indeed existed for 5 billion yrs, then there should be a layer of this dust at least 200 ft thick all over the planet. of course, no such layer exists.
THE DECAY OF THE EARTHS MAGNETIC FIELD- this field, it has been shown, has a half-life of 1400 yrs. this means it is weakened by 50% each 14 centuries. it also means the magnetic field was twice as strong 2800 yrs ago. only 7000 yrs ago it was 32 times as strong. it is very doubtful that it couldve been much stronger than this.
THE IMBALANCE OF CARBON-14 AND CARBON-12- it can be shown that it would take a period of 30,000 yrs to attain an equilibrium of these 2. however, at present c-14 still exceeds c-12 by some 50%.
there is also scientific support that god created man by the first and second law of thermodynamics, and the law of biogenesis.

You can make a Biblical case for a 15 billion year old universe
and a 6 thousand year old universe. Gerald Schroeder (MIT and
Jerusalem U) makes the case for both in his writings.
