A thorough blood test is necessary to establish the type of white blood cell.Often the problem is a kidney infection sometimes a low grade virus,an enlarged spleen. Not always a sign of total disaster but always needs checking out carefully.

one would presume you have seen a doctor then ?
white blood cells are produces by our bodies to fight of invading infections which enter the body and blood stream. these which cell can be raised if you have an infection. so when you have your bloods taken they can see whats going on.
if your white blood cells are low this can mean that your bone marrow is not functioning as well as it should. A very low white blood count can indicate Neutropenia, this is when there are not enough cells to fight of a very basic virus or bacterial invasion. If this was the case you would be hospitalised in isolation for your own protection and you would have daily blood test to see if the cell count is returning back to normal. I would presume they cannot be this low??
eat a very healthy diet rich in protein and things should return to normal, you should however get your bloods checked again soon to see if things have improved.
you should always ask your doctor to explain.
good luck i hope this helps.

How do you know you have low white blood cells, a doctor I presume, why haven't you asked her to explain this to you...
White blood cells are infection fighting cells, so if you have loads and loads of white blood cells, you have an infection somewhere are you doc will give you antibiotics and make it better, help the white blood cells along basically.
But if in you case you have very low white blood cells, this is a sign of a low immune system, meaning what if you do get an infection, will you have enough white blood cells in your system to fight it??? You have to speak to your doctor about this and find out why this is happening and how to fix it.
Good Luck!

White blood cells help fight infection in your body. A mild decrease in white blood cells doesn't indicate a serious illness. But a dangerously low white blood cell count increases the risk of serious infection. Potential causes of a low white blood cell count (leukopenia) include:
* Infections, such as viral infections and HIV
* Autoimmune disorders, such as lupus
* Certain medications, especially those used in chemotherapy and some antibiotics
* Radiation therapy
* Bone marrow disease, such as leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes
Sometimes the cause of a low white blood cell count can't be determined (idiopathic).

mmm how long is a piece of string!!!!
Well as you probably know these cells are for your Immune system.Smoking can make them lower than normal.
HIV can effect the white count.
Cancer patients who are having Chemo and Radio have very little white cell, but they regenerate after time.
I think your best off going to a medical site and asking a this question there.
there are many factors that can effect your white blood count

Let's Get Well by Adelle Davis will teach you how to optimize your diet for good results. Murray and Pizzorno's Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine has a great chapter on how to optimize your immune function of which your WBC's are a major player. A little study of either of these excellent books will pay you big dividends. Good luck!

Is that how you spell what? Oh I guess not because you are spelling it correctly later in your sentence. Are you asking because it eats away at them slowly?
Can you answer this question for me? Do people write like this because they think it is cute? I have trouble with spelling and grammar also, but I really wonder why people write this way. Is it trying to be cute?
How about cutting your losses and rewording this question and deleting this one so you do not embarrass yourself. Or next time just use the best language you can.
You can paste into yahoo for spelling the email or use your Microsoft word. This will really help you with work. This is a really bad habit to be in.
I wish you the best. It is okay for women and girls to be smart some men like that. If your are foreign and doing you best please forgive me. If you have a learning disability please forgive me again.
I think it is fine to practice on here if you do not know English.
I see other people are actually answering your question at hand so I will refrain this time.
Best wishes to you.
