Okay, my dad is an ***, so of course he leaves the thermometer case in the medicine cabinet, but irresponsible him has neglected the task of putting things back where he found them. Because he is stupid.

Anyway, I was wondering if there's any way, other than using a thermometer, to tell if one has a fever. Stupid question maybe, but any advice would be great.

Gosh I don't know! (wow helpful answer!) Umm well a fever is considered to be a temperature of about 38-39centigrade and up. So it's gonna be hard for you to get much accuracy without a thermometer but you could find out if you're 'hotter' than you should be. Get someone to touch your forehead and see if it feels hot, or put your hands on something that generally feels normal to you...wall, something plastic like a microwave door...i don't know...and see if it feels cool to you. If so you're probably running a slight fever. If you feel really wobbly and your skin feels super-hot to the touch then you definitely have a fever!

if you can fry an egg on your body then you are running hot, if you have steam coming out of your ears you are runnig hot, if you see icicles forming on your body you are cold. here are the solutions: first for running hot check your radiator, check your water level, make sure no paper is stuck to your grill. if you are running cold then think about looking at an airport for defrost equipment
