Best bet is to take her to a vet. They may shave her tummy to check for a scar. Some vets are also tattooing neutered/spayed animals now. My cats have tattoos to indicate that they've been altered, but you can't see the tattoos through the fur.

things might be different where u live but here in australia we have a tattoo in the inner ear when they have been spayed.....

Take her to a vet to check. If you plan on keeping her she is going to need to go anyway to get her boosters and vaccinations. Especially her rabies shot. And it called the ASPCA not SPCA.
