Yes, and I have looked at many people who have everything and they don't seem any happier or more content. And then I went to India and worked in a slum, and they have nothing, and they seem happier.
So it seems to me that the issue is not things... or money... or a girlfriend... but contentment. You see you can be content with little or a lot, a bad life or a good one. It is something that happens inside and you can't buy it.
There was an ancient guy who wrote back in the first century. He said something that has been meaningful to me. He said "I have learnt to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learnt the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want"
He claims to have learnt this through a relationship with God.
So it is possible but you have to look away from things and events and feelings to an inner sense of peace and contentment.

No I've never felt I had everything. I'd like to try it some time. Meanwhile I struggle along in my lack of everything feeling that what I do have is pretty wothwhile. Maybe you ought to spend some time doing something for somebody who doesn't have everything and see if it makes you feel less useless.

The low points in my life have never made me feel useless nor the objects or possession I have or lack . The darkest night always has been overcome by the light of day, Thank GOD! When things are bad I just remember it could always be worse, it cheers me up very fast!

I have said- I want what I can't buy-there is more to life than things-we have a God shaped vacuum that only God can fill-we are lost w/o him-Seriously - we are made in the image of God- See Genesis-then John 3:16- God loves you- and Jeremiah 29:11 GOd has good plans fo you- a future and a hope-accept Christ as Lord & saviour-find a Good Bible believing church-not a religion- a relationship- see the plans He has for you! Yes, i feel like that everyday. i have over 3 thousand dollars in the bank, a great new life, a nice girlfriend, and yet i feel like i have nothing.

have everything like what? you arent very specific about what you have or dont have...but if i was to generally answer this i would say that alot of people who have money, good jobs, families are sitll missing something..generally that means that they are fooling themselves into believing they are happy...what it comes down to is to be happy with ones material items or their families you must first be happy with your self...

yeah, like now... i have everything money can buy, latest mobile, laptop, great apartment and high paid job, but still feeling incomplete.... feeling empty....
