I always tease her and say ha Your dad was a border brother and mine was Chicano (Believe me she deserves it she is a little brat sometimes). She acts like it doesn't bother her But I know it does. He is in Mexico is there any way I can find him? I know his name and I think he is from a part of Mexico where they hypen the moms and dads name together Does anyone know what part of Mexico that is? Or how I can go about finding him? I know that would be the best present I could ever give her.

Never thought I would say this but I agree with princess. One of my cousins went through the same thing except her dad was chicano and ran off to mexico so he wouldn't have to pay child support and he got married again over there. When she turned 18 she wanted to know about him,so my dad got in contact with his family that he knew over there and also with friends of his and just asked them if they would let him know if they saw him around.Took about 3 yrs but eventually he did return to his parents hometown to visit them and decided to stay there. My best advice would be to try with family members of his or at least from people who from around the same place he is,they might have seen him and know how to get you in contact with him.best of luck

I think Princess has the right idea, find out about his family. Does your mom have any information? (I am trying to figure out the family structure here.)

Be careful, though. She doesn't know where he is, but surely he knows where she is? And he hasn't been in touch with his kid? Be prepared to deal with that, in case you do find him. Your sister could wind up being better off with a dream.

You sound mean!!! Just kidding.....

Maybe you could contact one of those businesses that find people who are "missing". You know....you hear people talk about it all of the time. For instance, people who have given up children 20 years ago but want to find them. I don't see why it would be a problem. What about his family?
