I believe we all are born for some special purpose.
Only God Knows for what purpose each one of us is on earth.Employment is the need of human ,fame is the desire for recognition while richness is just for worldly pleasure.
It is truly said that man is born on earth to seek for Knowledge beyond the stars but its not the complete truth.Life is just like an examination. We are send on earth to test our beliefs on God.
Life is full of happiness and sorrow.Our reaction towards both the aspects presents our actual picture.

scientificly we r just a spieces on earth like others but still we have this advantage that we have this capability to understand things.And this world if u wana live u have to do something if u don't the others will think that ur useless.ya,it's true that ur whole life goes in these stuffs but we have to do it for the sake of our family

Biologically speaking we are born simply to pass on our genes to our offspring, who in turn pass on theirs.
If we are successful creatures then we will go pass on our genetic materials and part of us will live on beyond our deaths...you owe your own existence to your great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, for example. If he had been born with no legs, or was ugly as sin then the chances are he wouldn't have reproduced and you wouldn't be here.
If you're looking for a more spiritual answer then I suppose we're here to be the best we can be, and enjoy ourselves in the process. that's the best i can offer :)
