So it does. Not that you don't like the girl, just that you don't love the girl.
People get attached for different reasons other than love. The most common reason is the fear of loneliness. But honestly, that's not a good reason to be in a relationship, because you will hurt the girl in the long run. You also deprive yourself at a better shot at love with other girls out there in the interim. Why waste everybody's time by getting attached to people whom you don't love?
So to circumvent this problem from happening, we need to first learn to live by ourselves and be happy. The world does not revolve around boy-girl relationships.
Living happily by yourself is also a great sign of confidence and self-acceptance. Now, these are two qualities that will surely attract girls whom you like to yourself over time :)

Maybe becoz we didn't get any other option or sometimes we feel like no one is perfect,even we are not...so while dating someone we doesn't bother whether she is the one whom we like/love or not but we just like to be happy with whatever we get.
