DON'T use any harsh chemicals or other treatments on your hair ... no dyes, no perms, no harsh dandruff shampoos.

DO eat a healthy diet, including lots of healthy mono-unsaturated fats from things like olive oil, avocados, nuts and seeds

DO see your doctor and ask her

You really need to see a doctor, there is nothing a hairstylist can do to help you w/ this condition.

If you were a male it would be normal because men do naturally go bald/thin, but being a female I would say that something is wrong, especially at your age.

Are there other females in your family that are thinned out? Such as mom, aunts or cousins? If so it could be genes, but even at that it seems way too early for you to be going through this.

Are you loosing it in patches? If so that could be Alapecia Ariottia which is usually caused by stress and is more common in females.

I wouldn't use products until you go see your doctor, he or she can tell what is going on.

Mix fenugreek flour in curd. keep it for 15 min., then apply all over to your hair, rinse off after 45 min. after application .. Do it regularly till your hair is healthy, normal again .. This should work very well for you ..
Try oils like almond oil, olive oil ..
Avoid using shampoo, use only conditioner (get a mild one) on wet hair .. Avoid harsh treatments like chemical/heat treatments, etc. ..

Hair grows in cycles, which comprises of three stages:
• Anagen or growing phase
• Catagen or resting phase
• Telogen or falling phase

The length of the growth phase determines the length of the hair. Life of each hair on an average is 3 years, 4 months. A normal healthy individual has nearly 80 - 120 hairs fall per day. Hair fall is always more when you wash your hair or oil it because this is when most of the hair, which is in the telogen phase, falls off.

Causes of hair fall:
Hair roots are very sensitive to bodily changes. Thus anything going wrong in the body can reflect on the hair leading to hair fall.

Common causes are:
• Physiological: During pregnancy and after delivery.
• Improper diet habits leading to anaemia and other deficiencies.
• Psychological: Stress, emotional disturbances, etc.
• Chronic illness and wasting diseases e.g., T.B., Thyroid, Jaundice, Cancer etc.
• Drugs and chemicals: Side effects of certain drugs can cause hair fall in some people.
• Common drugs like oral contraceptives, drugs taken to control B.P, anti-thyroid drugs, pain killers etc.
• Excessive intake of vitamin A and drugs given for psychiatric disorders can also cause hair loss.
• Heredity: Common baldness is heredity and mainly seen in males.
• Hormonal imbalance.

Local causes:
• Infections of scalp like Tinea capitis, Dermatomyosis etc.
• Unhygienic scalp.
• Improper conditioning.

Other Causes:
• Excessive use of hair driers
• Hair dyes, gels, colors etc unsuitable to the hair.
• Perming
• Lack of care

Go to a dermatologist to find out why it's falling out, maybe they can find a solution to stop it and help you grow your hair back. I really hope that something works for you. As a last resort please at least check out Richard Farrells hair replacement website, there are videos you can watch to show you how he does it and it's not surgery on your scalp or anything like that. God Bless and take care.

Ask the beautician about options. They can recommend treatments and there are also hair weaves and other such products.

don't fight it. it's a losing battle. trust me. just go with it. create your own style. i've been losing hair for years. don't let it bother you. you'll just stress yourself out. and or spend way to much money. or if you really don't like it shave it and where a hat. whereing a hat on your shaved head feels cool.
