if my wife goes in an american hospital, she pays the hospital bills and has a baby in USA, will the child get american citizenship also if bot parents are foreigners? thanks

yes. the 14th amendment to the Constitution guarantees the child American citizenship. some in congress are trying to do away with this and make to child a citizen of what country the parents were born in or just visited from.

Yes anyone born in America gets citizenship. That's why so many pregnant illegal mothers crooss the border and go into labor in parking lots or where ever just so the child can be born on American soil. Once you enter a Hospital you can not be turned down by law.

The parents could be on a plane, being deported. If the child is born while the plane is in the US, the kid is a US citizen. Any person born in the US is guaranteed, under the 14th amendment of the Constitution, US citizenship. Regardless of your parents illegal actions. This issue is being debated and will probably be changed.

Yes any child born in the United States is a citizen. However this doesn't mean the parents can't be deported....Unfortunately the immigration can come in and take the mom and dad if they feel necessary. Sad situation...Watch Hispanic TV. Seen quite a few parents pulled from the house mainly in California and Arizona deported..... Isn't this government wonderful.

yes, as long as the child is born in the US, the child gets US citizenship... as long as u have proof of this.... birth certificate etc
many people do this to get their kids to be citizens.... but this is not the way to get urself to stay here though
