Yes she can and if you suspect that your dog has then you need to take her to a vet to be checked out as there might still be puppies inside that have died and could cause problems for your dog.

If you're female dog is bleeding then this may simply be her heat that has come on. A heat is a period of time whereby your dog can become pregnant (quite the opposite as in humans) should they have intercourse with a male dog during this time only. Bitches have a heat roughly every 6 months which lasts from 1-4 weeks. Should her heat be continuing for too long you may need to see your vet as she may be suffering from a 'phantom pregnancy' whereby her hormones don't drop off correctly leading her to falsely believe she is pregnant. If you know your dog to be pregnant then you should visit the vet regularly during her pregnancy so that she can be correctly monitored. If you know her to be pregnant and she is bleeding or behaving oddly, see your vet immediately as intervention may be necessary to prevent infection and/or septacemia (blood poisioning). Good luck!

I would have thought so but I am not entirely sure,
you could ask your vet or log on to a good site Like the PDSA and they may have a help line.

yes, of course, a dog is a mammal like us, if you think your dog has miscarried you should take her to your vet straight away, it will probably have the dead unborn still in its body which is very sad.
