I have been on Oxycontin for several year but I use the slow release. The pain clinic put me on it as nothing else seemed to work. It is very helpful. Any drug can be abused but if you use this according to directions and don't abuse it, you will feel the full effect of it. I have a number of complaints and Oxycontin covers them all. Anti-inflammatory drugs have a real problem when it comes to the stomach lining so be careful. If your not on slow release tabs ask your doctor for them. Get better soon. take care

I would recommend taking a anti informatory drug vs. this drug, which is a strong narcotic, with a bad history of dependency and addiction. Oxycontin is a very very strong narcotic. If you are a person with depression, you may also have other mental conditions which make you more susceptible to dependency, so I warn you to be careful.
