a lie can be good for so long thru which many accomplishments are made yet when the lies crumble and fall and the truth comes out it is all worth nothing in the end.

It means that-

The glory built upoun a lie becomes unpleasant when one realises that the glory is not yours to begin with & becomes unpleasant henceforth. Also it becomes unbearable since u may not possess those qualities to maintain or match with that certain glory. Things therefore fall apart.

One lie always leads to another and soon the weight of all those lies becomes a heavy load to carry. It is not true glory if you have had to lie to achieve it and sooner or later having to keep the lie will become to heavy a load to carry.
