I do not agree with your statement. For your information, in 2006 the homosexual community is not the one who spreads the HIV as you say, but the heterosexual one.
Homosexuals have taken seriously the risks of getting infected and the use of condoms plus the high rate of men involved in a stable relationship with other homosexual men does the rest. Infection between lesbians keeps on being at a low risk
On the other hand, heterosexuals should have nothing to do with the homosexual community unless some bisexuals would be involved in linking both communities.
In 2006, AIDS is mainly a disease of heterosexual transmition during sexual intercourse without the use of condoms. The same way that AIDS is increasing within heterosexual population all over the world for already decades, many other sexual transmitted diseases are also becoming more common between heterosexual relationships.
Just for ending, being homosexual or heterosexual is not a guarantee of promiscuity or purity. Whoever gave you that information lives in the past; let's say in the late '80 when the HIV epidemic was mainly considered as a homosexual disease.
The only victims of all this diseases that can be prevented are the kids born from infected mothers and women, because we are more vulnerable to get infected than men. Currently there is much more hope to the babies from infected mothers through prevention during the pregnancy.

Right, and all those people who got it through a blood transfusion? We should let everyone who needs a blood transfusion die. The fact that some people contracted HIV just shows how wrong they were for getting into life threatening accidents and needing blood!!

I am fairly sure that the Chrispies said that "HIV" was God's punishment. The gay community has definitely been vilified.
The latest stats show that uneducated, poor hetero females were the source of most infections today.

That really shows how much you know. Women spread it just as much as men.
As for why you see more cases though, is because we tend not to use condoms. It's not cause we're gay, it's cause humans are idiots.
And what do you have to worry about, we're not gonna come up and rape you. And obviously we're gay so we won't be doing your women. So stop vilifying gay people just because you don't understand us.
