If we analize the death of Jesus we can see that he knew he will die and he didn't prevent it. He actually commit a suicide. He chosed death and not life.

You all say that Jesus saved us, but the world is corrupted the same way as it was in Jesus time. No difference. Besides, if he would chosed life, he maybe could change world to better.

Ok, God gave you a life, you have a purpose in life. So, if you go and kill yourself, which Jesus did not do, others killed Him. He just did not prevent it. It would be like going to war, and just not fighting, you will be killed eventually. But in this case, Jesus had a mission from God, and that was to shed his blood for you. He tried to show people the way of his Father, and tell them God's words to live by. I am not 100% sure if Christ knew all along, because the night before the Roman guards got him, he went upon the mountain, and prayed that His Father would spare him, but He knew that God had a purpose and that was to die for our sins.

This was a one time event, and to say, that if we all kill ourselves that we are sacrificing our bodies for others, it does not work that way. Only Christ, which was the son of God, had that mission. Remember he was half man, and that part had to come together with the Godly part and team up to go to the crucification. If we decide that we want to kill the body that God gave you, and remember that God made you in his image, then you are making that determination that your life has no purpose and decides when it is ending. Only God knows that and when the time comes, you will go, no matter where you are.

Did you read recently where a plane crashed and all died, except one, the co-pilot, I believe, and he walked away. It was not his time to go, but yet 49 died. Yes, it was their time to go. The closer to God you get, the more comforted you are in His love and protection, but He will call you home, and life goes on. We do not live forever, but if you do not learn lessons, or do the purpose that you are put here on earth to do, and cut it short, then who knows, maybe you just have to come and do it again, and again. I do not think that is in the Bible, so I am not saying that recarnation is true, but I am just saying I do not know how God judges those that kill themselves.

There are mentally ill people that do that, but for the most part, it is a coward to cop out of life. This is our learning grounds. I hope this has helped a little. I can understand where you are coming from, but just know that God is a just God, but also has rules, so it is up to Him to judge people..

Christ's mission was over at the crucification, and when he rose again. He stayed after he did arose from the dead and gave the Deciples the Holy Spirit, so they could go out and also teach others the word of God. They all were killed for their teachings, so they had a purpose, but died as well, as Christ did. They suffered for their belief.

Jesus had to die for our sins. He was the final sacrifice for all sins. Past, present, and future. If he didn't die we would all be going to hell. A person who is saved, and commits suicide will go to heaven. Only people who are not saved, and are of the age of accountability will go to hell. Read your Bible. Judas could have asked Jesus for forgiveness and went to heaven, but he chose not to.

Valid point, yet its the belief that he saved the world by his action and a common person is just selfish.

Against popular belief, I do agree that suicide should be a valid option. YET- they must have made all arrangements and do it with consideration and dignity for those whom love them and professionals that will have to "Deal" with them after expiring.

Their are such places in the Netherlands, they have "spa" like areas, that offer two types of chemically assisted deaths. These people have prepaid for all the expenses, medical, funeral arreangements . You can actually get "spa" treatments prior to the "experience". $10,000-$70,000 for the end results.
OH I"M NOT JOKING HERE!

Yes, He choose death that we can live because us without Him can't be perfet and justified in the sight of Gof and without Him we are wothy of hell. We are born in sin, formed in iniquity. If you read, you'll see that the punishment of sin is death. That's why Jesus must die. To pay the prise for us. And after that He rose again.
He don't comitted a suicide. He was God in flesh, He knowed that must die for us, but also knowed that after three days will rise from the death, distroying last fear of human kind, death and showing that is life after death.
Life is a gift from God for us, if you comit a sucide is like you push back the gift and don't want it, then how can you expect to go in Heaven, rejecting His gift. Is the same rejecting Jesus. Bye

To make a statement about another person, as to their eternal destiny is not really something that a TRUE Christian should do in the first place...we ARE called to be "fruit inspectors" to examine the lives of those that profess Christianity, & we are even called to judge...but we are NOT called to CONDEMN! Condemenation for our sins is only GOD'S DOMAIN alone!
Only Jesus can truly see our hearts & all our reasonings & therefore He alone can decide where a sinner... or a repentant sinner will be forever!

it was said that a person who comiits suicide goes to hell, to prevent people from getting scared of life and comitt suicide.
in actual, it is like, he goes against the will of god and ends his life before his time is up. this is against god,. hence it is said that such a erson will go to hell.
as for jesus, he did not comitt suicide, because he knew that only with his death people will be able to realise the truth and lead a better life.
he comitted sacrifice and not suicide.

There's a big difference, he died for us. When you give up your life for the life of another thats not suicide. Suicide is when you take your own life. He didn't take his own life, the Jewish priests did because they didn't believe he was Christ, so they had him exicuted. The only reason he knew he was going to die was becasue he's God's son and knew God's.

Not Christians, just the person that decyphered the Bible under the Christian religion. I reckon that we are all on this earth for a certain time and if we interrupt that time ie suicide then we must come back and serve the remainder of our time on earth, be it a day or years.

i learnt at school that its because God gives you a sacred gift of life and if you kill or commit suicide or have an abortion then you are destroying the gift that god had created for you.
