some of us non believers have at one point been believers
some of us have studied Christianity
some of us have sat and watched , asked questions of and answered Christians
maybe you get a better perspective from the outside
but i wouldn't claim to be an expert on anything though

Nonbelievers are just as capable of picking up a book and doing research as believers. They'll often try to get information from more places than just the bible or a one sided viewpoint and they tend to talk to many people of differing denominations to gain different perspectives.

Also, many nonbelievers get some Christian "love" hurled at them for being gay, Atheist, Muslim, etc. They can claim to know Christian love after they've experianced it firsthand

Don't see many people claiming to be experts. Just see people giving their opinions on things. It's about who's educated and knowledgeable, not just who believes.

The same way a doctor can tell you about your illness without having it...
by the way....how come you believers think you understand the mental workings/thought processes/understanding and comprehension of a nonbeliever??
Isn't that just as presumptuous of you?

also..."love" existed long before christianity....

Christians display no understanding of love...I don't think they are capable of love and will probably never be. However they are experts on nastiness and mental cruelty, they display great proficiency at both.

We grew up in this so-called "Christian Love". It certainly was not suddenly or instant. The Chrispies called us demons, freaks, heathens, and idiots is we did not believe exactly as they believed.

I have never, ever experienced Christian love.

non-believers are not non-believers in love....Christian love is not a love separate from Islam love or Hindu love. Love is love. No questions, no answers. Just love in purest form. Beautiful isn't it?
