Questions about Jesus, or Questions designed to convert or recruit people to Jesus are simply a waste of time. People have already decided for the most part if they believe in the fiction written in the bible. People who feel God talks to them have psychological problems because hearing voices is a psychological illness. %-}

of course they are disobeying JEsus... and yes disobeying Jesus is a work of Satan... but please remember that true Christians dont spread hatred and they dont disobey Jesus... if u happen to know a person who claims to be a Christian and yet does things contrary to what Jesus has set as a guide, then u must not consider that person a Christian..

Being a Christian is not conforming to a certain religion, rather it is a personal relationship with Christ ..

God BLess you

Truth be told, hardly any Christians obey the Ten Commandments. If you can show me one christian who has never sinned (disobeyed on of the commandments) I will never say anything to Criticize Christians again.
It is said in the christian bible that if you break any of the ten commandments it will be seen as a sin, and yes sure you can "ask for forgiveness" but are you going to pray and ask for forgiveness every time you swear at someone, light a cigarette? Doubt-full.
I don't think you can say "doing work for satin". But they are contradicting themselves by doing those things.

No "if" about it... Jesus definitely DID say to love your enemies, He also said to love your neighbor as yourself, and to treat others as you would have them treat you.

You did not say what exactly you are referring to as "spreading hatred"... to some people just telling them that they are wrong is "hatred" when they actually need to be told by SOMEone... and that is where tuff love comes in... and that's not hatred at all...

Jesus said that people need to believe in Him to enter the Kingdom of God; have you done that yet? He went on to say that if a person is not "born from above" they will never see the Kingdom of God. I encourage you to allow the entrance of Jesus into your thought, your heart, your mind, your soul so that you may be born into the family of God and learn of His great great love.

Most people that are preachy and call themselves "christians" are very hypocritical and hyde all their flaws behind the cross. They use religion to tell themselves they are decent people when in fact they are the ones most full of hatred towards others so yeah they are disobeying the very thing that they are supposedly preaching.

The ones that are spreading any kind of "hatred" would more than likely not be true Christians, however I suppose it matters in which way you are refering to "spreading hatred", as Christ Himself .."spread hatred" in a manner of speaking, among those that opposed Him.

Absolutely. Though I would argue that those who spread hate are not "Christians," but simply people who have hijacked the name of Christianity. Jesus said we would know true believers by their fruits. If their "fruits" include hate, they are probably false converts or liars.

Spotted on a bumper sticker the other day:

I like your Christ.
I don't like your christians.
They are so unlike your Christ.

I think that sticker pretty much says it all... though there are christians who don't spread hatred. It's kinda refreshing when you come across them.
