EXCERPT FROM THE VERY SAME ARTICLE U GAVE
Al-Qaida in Iraq and its allies said Muslims would be victorious and addressed the pope as "the worshipper of the cross," saying "you and the West are doomed as you can see from the defeat in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and elsewhere. ... We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose the 'jizya' tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (being killed by) the sword."
i thought it was the Al-Qaeda and Corrupted mullahs and imaams, NOT THE WHOLE LOT who said that. that pretty much explains for itself.

I can not believe a majority of Islamics really stand by this dialog. This is a threat to the free world, but it's no different from some of our own rhetoric.
This post is inflammatory to the situation with Iran and no better than the quote cited here. Israel declared it will not stand by while Iran constructs a weapon. What are we to think?
Iran and N. Korea are arming up to the gills. Why? They are certain the US will strike them next.
The situation is different. Saddam was a reckless dictator and Afganistan was occupied by fanatical radical Islamic foreigners.
Different. Iran is boosting hot air.

Don't take this quote out of context.
It was a direct response to the Pope's hateful, ignorant remarks about their religion.
Remarks he felt compelled to apologise about, no less.
Every religion has its nutcases and to suggest all Muslims feel this way is just not true.

I am not a Muslim or a Christian, but it seems to me that if you take Al-Qaida as the best mouthpieces for Islam, then it is also legitimate to take David Koresh as the best mouthpiece for Christianity.
Let's not let the extremists make the agenda. They see a glory in a cataclysmic battle of extremes.

Do you think Pat Robertson declared war on the US when he claimed the US State Department should be nuked?
If you consider the rantings of one lunatic to be representative of the whole group, why would you single out Muslims? Every group has its own lunatics making idiotic claims.

So it's against their religion to drink alcohol but it's ok to behead someone? Every religion on this planet has people that don't agree with them but the only ones that riot, bomb, murder and terrorize others because of it are the Muslims. Why can't they wisen up and realize that not everyone thinks like they do and just because we disagree doesn't mean they have to kill us? They say they're offended and so am I when they burn my flag, crash planes into our buildings then cheer in the streets, kidnap and behead my people, and not once have I heard a Muslim community (even an American one) apologize for any of this. Their Jihad of convert or die says everything we need to know about them. It is a violent religion full of fanatics. What are non-fanatic Muslims doing to prevent their fanatic brothers from doing this? Nothing. So someone else has to.

leaders in the Muslim world didn't declare war..it's only some of the protestants (who are minority).
So ..there is no war against Christianity...and we never regarded Christians as enemies.
AGAIN..stop generalizing and stop stereotyping us.
ah..by the way...all fanatics who bomb ,behead and commit any violence against Christians are chased down by Muslim government to get their severe punishment.

I don't think most of them would. If they do it's just a certain few.
