Percentage wise there probably aren't anymore for our population then there has been during any other time in known history. Historically it is about 10-12% of any given normal population.

However, there is less prejudice now and the guys are either out of the closet or just never decided to crowd themselves in there in the first place.

The world would be a less colorful, less literate and beautiful place without the contributions of the homosexual population.
Leonardo daVinci (probably one of the greatest geniuses of all times), Michaelangelo, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, Tennesee Williams, and a whole slew of great hairdressers ect.

I don't think there are more homosexuals now, as compared to the number of global population, than in the past.

A lot more people admit it now than a while back, but, say, before the Middle Ages it was not such a bad thing either.

Of course, there may be more homosexual people now in number than there used to, but then, there are a lot more _people_ than there used to be...

There aren't. It is just a time of more honesty about gender identification.

Before you judge someone for their sexuality, get an education in the physical aspect.

Nobody chose to be gay.

And............whom does this hurt?

Gay unions average better stats than Hetero.

It is brain chemistry, and possibly other stuff they haven't discovered yet, but in My mind, it isn't a choice they make, it is made by their dna.

Leave gays alone.

They aint hurting anybody.

Let them marry, why the hell not? Any stable American family is better than what 70% of what we have now?

Get a real issue.

The Administration is insisting on clear definitions for torture.

because many children today grow up thinking they are born gay. The fact that there has always been estimated 10 percent was gay, and now there is a higher population than before. People do not understand that gender nonconformity is not the same as a homosexual. Today there are more children with a learned gender nonconformity because of single parent families.

I think it is more to do with society and women. What i mean by society is....the families which never allow a person to have a girl friend and ultimatelly that person seeks some guy or one of his friends for his needs. The other scenario is women who never trust men these days. Because of this there are many men who fail in their attempt to befriend a girl and ultimately fall to the trap of what u have mentioned above..so i think as a whole society is responsible for these and i think women shud take some action and convince men who're presently affected not to continue and at least give them a hand to come up in life...tks...

It's excepted more NOW than it was THEN. If you were a homosexual in the past, you weren't suppose to talk about it. You were suppose to stay in "the closet."

It's not that there are more homosexual;s now, it's just that before it was hidden and done behind closed doors. It's more acceptable to be open about your sexuality now.

it is more acceptable in society to say your gay now than it was way back when. have you ever heard of kinsys theory that everyone is bisexual? it just depends HOW bisexual you are? idk i do know that some ppl are acting gay as a "SCENE" thing and its so F***** up because it discraces the gay community, in my eyes to just be a gay poser, i guess the word would be. so that is also another reason it seems like there are so many queers now.
