The Bible says in 1 Cor. 14, that when we speak in an unknown tongue, we are NOT speaking to men, but to God, and that it builds us up. Paul also said not to forbid speaking in tongues as long that it was done in a order. In Romans 8, the Spirit prays for what we ought. This gift has opened my Spiritual eyes and has magnified all the other gifts in my life. I don't know how I was able to live without it. I thank my God, more than you all that I speak in tongues! I have become one with God! I found out later, that the words that I made up in my mind and forced myself to say, were actually praising God in Hebrew! I have seen the manifestation of God in my life! I am never alone and I have supernatural experiences because God has come into my life because I came to Him on His terms; Through the Blood of His Son, Jesus, who loved us and gave Himself for us. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead can now abide in you too! Please e-mail me if you want more info.

Good job, very insightful. You left out interpretation, which is for the edification of the church body, it translates tongues into our language.

Not interested. It's best for people to learn patience and keeping their families together. If they can't even do that, why should they worry about "speaking in tongues?"
