Your first question is actually answered two verses later...
"... because the creation itself all will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God." - Romans 8: 21
With the current state of sin, even the things of nature and this world, which were originally made of God's glory, have been corrupted in sin. Thus, when the sons of God are revealed, creation will also be set free and will return to its original glory.
As for your second question, let as look at the following passage...
"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed -- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed..." - 1 Corinthians 15: 51-52 (I would also recommend reading verses 35-49 for a description of the incorruptible, or glorious, body)
Thus the sons of God, in whom He delighted, shall be revealed...

I hope this helps you.
[Rom 8:18] I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us.
[Rom 8:19] For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God;
Footnote:
[1] (18-27) The glory that believers are destined to share with Christ far exceeds the sufferings of the present life. Paul considers the destiny of the created world to be linked with the future that belongs to the believers. As it shares in the penalty of corruption brought about by sin, so also will it share in the benefits of redemption and future glory that comprise the ultimate liberation of God's people (Romans 8:19-22). After patient endurance in steadfast expectation, the full harvest of the Spirit's presence will be realized. On earth believers enjoy the first fruits, i.e., the Spirit, as a guarantee of the total liberation of their bodies from the influence of the rebellious old self (Romans 8:23).
