The most difficult part is that the world seems to think it is ok to butt in and tell you just how to do it. They don't want thugs roaming the streets but it is not ok to smack a child. Our hands are tied behind our backs. How do you show a child it is wrong when you are told even that telling a child NO is destroying their self esteem. I mean my goodness. This world cannot have it both ways. You have to give a child limits. No you cannot go and play with the electric meter box!(actual circumstances) I am not saying belt the crap out of a child, I saying a smack on the bum for bad behaviour(oops feaux pas not supposed to say bad behaviour supposed to say that is unacceptable behaviour(like a toddler knows what unacceptable means)) It is sheer luck to bring up a well behaved and respectful child these days. I am just doing my best and hoping the world likes what I have turned out, if not, then tuff cheddar. I hope this rant was something you wanted to know, it is truly a sore point.

Raising a child is difficult. There are times when each problem that arises or each situation arises that has its own level of difficulty. I cant say that there is one thing more difficult than the other. Each part of raising your child or children has its own tests or trials or burdens if you will. Theres no rule book in raising kids except of course for Federal and State Laws.
There are tips and guides from your grandma to nuns. People who dont have kids of their own will tell you how to raise your kids and the people who have kids but dont dont raise them will tell you how to raise your kids. Everyone has something to say. Different things work with different kids.
I guess I would have to say that the most difficult in raising kids, would be in getting them raised, helping them, teaching them and learning from them and with them along the way; just getting them to adulthood and then being there for them afterwards.

My children are my world! The hardest thing is to try and strike a balance so that they are not spoilt but also not underprivelaged. Raising children is extremely difficult, no question about it, but it is also the most amazing and rewarding experience you ever will have in your life!

My daughter is only 2 yrs., but the most difficult things are having enough patience at certain times, trying to figure out exactly what you want to teach them and what rules are going to be important, and seeing them grow up and be so independent.

Being 16, lived with parents untill 18, then lived on my own paid my own bills and worked two jobs to support us with no help from the state or the father, but I don't regret it. It made me stronger and made me realize that I can do things on my own and made me a better person for that.

It is difficult for me to watch my son go through any type of pain. I can't stand anything that hurts him even a little. I dread even shots. It makes things complicated.
