Nine Inch Nails are strong as iron, but quite on the slender side for any use.

God is not dead. Nietzsche infected himself with syphilis and tried to marry his sister. He ended up in an asylum.
Do you really think you should take him that literally? Read 'On the Genealogy of Morality' and 'Beyond Good vs. Evil' instead. 'Thus Spake Zarathustra' is a poetic metaphor for the modern age and is more rhetorical than evil or literal. He meant that the institutions surrounding God were dead and irrelevant in politics and democracy, not that God was literally dead. He meant Protestantism vs. Catholicism.

Yup.
And contrary to what Ms. Desert above says, Neitzsche was an atheist. He didn't just believe that the institutions were dead, he believed and taught that religion was necessary early in human society but that it was no longer needed at all because it was holding people back from thinking with modern knowledge instead of ancient superstitions.
