every christian follows the pope? Rather than just the catholics? because this pope thing sounds like christianity vs. muslim, rather than Catholicism vs. muslim. I'm not saying that I agree with muslims, but the pope don't speak for me or my religion.

I really dont see how the comment the pope made should reflect off Catholics either.Pope John Paul had a very good and peaceful relationship with the Muslims. this is a very new Pope and he did appologize. geeeeze forgive and forgett already.....isnt that soposed to be the Christian way???????

Once again, only Catholics follow the Pope.
Not all Christians are Catholics but ALL Catholics are Christians.
When you hold the beliefs that Christ came here as the son of God and died on the cross for the sins of the world, you are a Christian.Period.
Christians can be a million flavors though. Many hate Catholics. Jack Chick, who does the famous tracts and the KKK who claim to be Christian are notorious for their hatred of Catholics/Catholicism.

No. But a lot of people pay attention to the Pope, even if they are not Catholic. He is a political figure who uses religion to control people and keep money in the Vatican.

They probably do...Many think that Protestants were involved in the Crusades which they weren't by the way.
