"Children" is kindof broad, id say once they are in High School, they should be free to explore. Thats where the role of a parent comes in to guide them through the bad stuff. Thats in a perfect world though, Truth is, if i had kids, there isnt much i would be able to shield them from in todays electronic information age.

My kids will need examples of how not to act and how to keep cool in any amount of ignorance so I'd say Yes, let them gain some knowledge here. If they can not go crazy in here, they're ready for the world.
