Does Roman Catholicism really need a Pope? Why not get rid of him before the muslims get rid of everyone... Or at least make it clear that protestants don't follow the pope, and have no respect for him.

Muslims can not get rid of everyone. It will be the greatest mistake that they will ever commit. Those who are doing such chaos and turmoil and disorder around the world are a bunch of stupid fools made to believe by their leaders that they will reach paradise if they do it. Most muslims are not that crazy and the educated ones are actually just like us trying to face the day to day problems. But the problem is we can never read the mind so just be watchful, you might be the next victim before you know it and ask yourself, "What was I thinking?". If you don't respect the pope just keep it to yourself, he is not expecting your respect. He only expects that everyone follow Christ no matter what affiliation you belong. He doesn't care if you're catholic or protestant, like the protestant so brainwashed that they always have the ball in their court. He only wants peace for the world and fools doesn't want it and are trying to create a war out of an opinion.

Leave the Pope alone. He has enough burdens to carry. Besides the muslims don't need an excuse to act spastic.
Do you remember what they did to Salman Rushdie?
