The answer for you I think would be all of the above, because seperating yourself from God you will suffer plague, curses and cancer but worse of all you will be doomed to eternal death. It's not a pretty place. You think you likly it now. But your poor soul you will find an answer to your questions and it will hurt you to know the truth.

Christianity is about GOD's love for his fellow man. Loving one another. The only plague, curse or cancer is what your daddy feels for spawning a spoiled, whiny, punk, he regrets not shooting his 'load' down the toilet.

Lighten up. Open your eyes.

Nothing I say is going to change your mind.

Christians, outside of the United States, are wholly respectable. The U.S. has a constitutional requirement of separation of church and state and yet Bush and his religious right followers flagrantly flout this law.

I am aiming my arrows at the fundamentalists who dominate the political landscape of America, and not the average American or average Christian in America. Imperialism, economic or cultural, warmongering, psychological warfare, prejudice, torture, materialism, national pride, homophobia, Nazism, etc., are not about Christianity. Some people become religious fundamentalists or political extremists and use religion as a political weapon, but it is not really about the religion.

A quite maligned and misunderstood belief system that pivots on forgiveness of sin and reconciliation with God.

Peace.
