I would like to know the value of one year certificate course in computer application offered by madras university through distance education. Is the syllabus equal to B.C.A.? Any job opportunity after studying this course?

Yes Indeed it is valuable. Any certificate with university accrediation will defnetly have its importance. And regarding jobs, it all depends upon your skills and calibre. command over subject.

Try to do PHD from very Good Insti like TFR,IISC,IITS so that ur opportunity will be much more good.Other wise u can try for abroad PHD as well if u give gre and tofel.

CIC is Certificate course in Computing..from IGNOU..it is neccesary to do..before you opt for BCA from IGNOU..
