If you're in Europe then I recomend Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt. It's on the Sinai peninsula and temperatures in that time are usually in the low 30*C already.

If you check out Thomsons and JMC they usually do pretty cheap deals and there is a gread web site called: www.goredsea.com that has lots of info and a booking number to call.

There are beaches, diving and and most water sports and lots of land based things to do too, like quad biking and dessert trips. It's only a 4.30hr flight from the UK.

Be good to know where you're based though.

If you are in the UK, anywhere around the Mediterranean is hotting up in April and May. May is more likely to be hot though, in April you will still get some rain.

Try Cyprus - it's about 4 hours away and is always very hot in May. Package deals at that time of the year are much, much cheaper than in the Summer.

Sharm-el-Sheik, Egypt. It is wonderful, so much to do or you can laze , the hotels are great value for money and the Egyptians are the nicest people in the world. I've never been so reluctant to end a holiday.

The Lanzerote Beach Club (Lanzerote) is nice. Cute pool-side villas, nice restaurants and bars near by. Amazing restaurant called "Lag Omar" a 15min taxi ride in land (place has to be seen to be believed).
