Masturbation is actually very healthy for boys and men of all ages. And NO, it has nothing to do with your fertility rate.
In fact it can be very painful to NOT release your sperm. You can develop what is commonly referred to as "blue ball", and yes it does exist! The build-up of sperm and pre-orgasmic release can cause your penis to actually release a fluid without the thought or arousal of sex.
Thus boys and men have "wet dreams" and nightly erections, and some have orgasms during sleep.
Self gratification is safe, healthy and common.

That is one of the most insidious bits of propaganda I have ever heard. Everybody masturbates at all ages and it is a normal function along with eating and sleeping. Even Chimpanzee's do it.
Do it when you feel the need and the only thing that will happen to you is that it will settle your nerves.
You are too young for anyone to try to sell you that fairy tale.
You are perfectly normal and you cannot harm yourself at all.
