how do I remove/uninstall Yahoo toolbar? I can't do anything with it?

start > control panel > add/remove programs
look for Yahoo Toolbar in the list.
Select It and click on change/remove linkin front of it.
Press OK to confirm uninstallation/removal.

Click on view on the Internet explorer menu. Highlight toolbars and make sure that Yahoo toolbar is checked.
On the left side of the search box on the Yahoo Toolbar is a pencil with a drop down triangle on the right side of it. Click on the triangle and at the bottom of the drop down list is an uninstall option. Click it and it should start the uninstall.
If that doesn't work, go to start and then to My Computer. Double click Control Panel and then Add and Remove Programs. Cursor down the list to the bottom of the window. Highlight the Yahoo Toolbar for Internet Explorer and click on the change/remove option. That should uninstall it.

I'm not sure the Add/Remove program thru Control Panel is the answer. I have Yahoo Toolbar on my computer and it did not show up in the Add/Remove list. I just did a search and found some items about the toolbar that led me to this page. Control Panel -> Add/Remove Program -> Select Yahoo toolbar -> Remove or Uninstall it.
Restart and You have done it.

Go into the start menu, and click on control panel.
Then go to add/remove programmes.
Once the list has loaded, go down to the 'y' section and highlight 'yahoo toolbar' and click to uninstall.

either right click on the empty toolbar area and untick the yahoo toolbar or go to add or remove programs and uninstal the program itself.
