neighboring nation? Its just a simple equation of Supply and Demand. If there werent to be such BIG DEMAND FOR ILLICIT DRUGS here in America, there wouldnt be such flow of illicit drugs coming in. The same applies for Undocumented Immigrants, if there werent to be such lazy, whining legal working people here in the states, there woudlnt be such a high demand for Undocumented Immigrats. And no, its not because of cheap labor, they get paid just as much as someone working here legally.

You are soooo right!! I posted something like this on Sunday and got a bunch of racists calling me racist names. It just infuriated them, and even got one moron to dedicate a personal post to me. It just struck a raw nerve cause they know it's true. Deep down they know that Americans are the biggest junkies in the world, who have been getting dusted for years. They keep saying that Mexicans are bringing drugs to the good ol' U.S.A., but Americans want those drugs, like you say supply and demand. They want to blame someone else for their drug addiction.

Junkies need help, the war on drugs is a joke made up by rich politicians. Mexico is not the only country that helps supply the demand, but the drug lords have too much power and influence in Mexican government. As much as Vincente Fox thought he would change a corrupt government, he could only do so much. He also worked with Bush to try to establish some sanity in the issue of illegal immigrants, however that issue is now becoming nearly impossible to solve. Politicians don't have the answers that the common people need. They really don't care about us anyway.

The junkies are sick and abusing themselves. The suppliers are catering to that sickness and enabling the users to continue to abuse themselves. Along the way the drug suppliers commit major crimes like murder, smuggling, laundering money, etc. The drug mule that gets sick and almost dies from a popped balloon in their stomach has become a stereotype, because it is so common.

The best way to stop drug smuggling and drug abuse is to treat the users and reduce the demand. That's the best way to win the War on Drugs. Once demand drops off then the various drug smugglers and suppliers will dry up. We are going about it all wrong. Look at how unpopular smoking has become. In the 1950s almost every adult in America smoked. Now days the percentage of smokers is dropping all the time (despite the fact that the cigarette companies are making cigarettes more addictive). Drug abuse does more harm than smoking and the criminal activities of junkies and gangs that supply them their drugs are worse than the effects of second hand smoke. If we made drug use as unpopular as smoking then we would have fewer junkies and drug suppliers.

The way to handle illegal immigration is to develop a liberal Green Card or Guest Worker program. The people want to work in the US and they are willing to do low skilled and low paying jobs that many Americans don’t want to do (okay, maybe they are making it tough for teenagers and slackers to find work at the fast food joints). The border issue, illegal immigrants “stealing” public services and not paying taxes are all caused by one problem. If we made the immigration legal then a lot of those problems would go away. We could keep track of the migrant workers and let them get on with their jobs, we could watch for criminals and keep them out of the US. Those that want to come to this country to stay can apply for citizenship legally and not be forced to hide in the shadows. We can tax (what little) the migrant workers make and we can force Mexico to help pay for their health care. We will also drastically reduce illegal border traffic thus securing our borders. Then the Border Agents can concentrate on stopping the illegal flow of drugs across the US Southern Border. Instead this is all just racial discrimination vaguely hidden by a smoke screen of Border Security.

The War on Drugs and the Fight for Border control are being run backwards. Instead of just applying force, hatred and not treating the root of the problem we are just allowing it to continue. These are SOCIAL problems not MILITARY problems and they should be fought with SOCIAL cures, not MILITARY ones.

Actually I think that the BIG DEMAND FOR ILLICIT DRUGS isn't the problem, there are drug addicts in EVERY society. The difference is in the way they are treated; as criminals, or as sick people. The untaxed market for drugs in the US is so astronomically huge yet law makers can't decriminilize the softer ones like marijuana and endorse government sponsored help programs like needle exchange or methadone clinics. Whats the difference between a junkie in the United States and a junkie in Switzerland? You don't have to fear the junkie in Switzerland because he doesnt need to rob you, the government treats him as though he had an illness and makes sure that person is taken care of. The Swiss pay less taxes than their American counterparts and have many many more social services at their disposal. Why doesnt the US become more socially responsible? Customary distrust of the government, the stigmatization of the word 'social', and low value placed on social well being.

History has shown that thriving addictive drug trades are acts of international sedition. The English used it to destabilize governments in Asia, and likely it is being used by enemy nations to subvert the stability of the U.S.

If the matter is ever resolved, many people are going to be surprised at the true leaders in the "Drug Cartels." In many ways, the theories that the US government is involved in the trade may be correct, but as a tool in the effort to bring this covert war to an effective end.

I think it falls on them both, cause in one way no one is making them buy the drugs or use them and if they would stop buying drugs then people wouldn't have no one to sale it too. On the other hand if the people didn't sale them then no one would be able to buy them to use them.
People sale drugs on the streets simply cause its a quicker and easier way to make money. Drug dealer make more money in one day then the average person makes in a month. Others sale drugs cause they have a record and its hard for them to find a job to support their family so they resort to selling drugs to make money to support their family.
The truth is there are always going to be illegal drugs going around no matter what. People get high on all sorts of things from house hold chemicals, to plant seeds, to weed to crystal meth. It's always going to be around.
As for the "undocumented Immigrants" I disagree with you. It haves nothing to do with laziness it's a fact that most places here in America will hire them cause they know it's less money coming out of their pockets.

The suppliers are the enablers for the drug addicts, its a self perpetuating cycle Create a demand then supply that demand with the needed drugs.Drug addicts are losers, not victims, only the weak of mind and
soul become addicted to anything
.
Jackie... where is your source for your statement
Where can you link me to that is undisputed fact that Americans are the biggest junkies in the world?
You know that's not fact, that's your opinion.my opinion differs,I say that's a baseless, instantiated lie, but its just an opinion not fact just like yours

The drugs coming across the border are to supply the illegals here. And NO they don't get paid as much as someone else working here legally. You know any illegals that made $250,000 last year? I doubt it
So shut up and go back to mexico and take your illegal trash back with you

The pay they STEAL depends upon where in the USA they are doing their STEALING... in the midwest, they undercut wages drastically and they also STEAL: jobs, and anything they can cart off... They are theives... and they are not as hard working as midwestern people....

Where in the hell did you get your info? Take a trip, ask a few people every where you go what illegal aliens are doing to their local economy.... I did, this past summer... 100% of those I asked said that illegal aliens are destroying their local economy.... and some that I didn't ask volunteered the same answer... not once did I hear anyone say they are of any worth to a local economy.... illegal aliens are a detriment and they are engaged in a criminal enterprise...

Illegal aliens cannot be called anything but illegal aliens... or criminals... or deserters, except for those from Mexico, who are also SLAVES of the corrupt rich ruling class in Mexico...
