Lot of people use bathrooms to relax and relieve stress. They take long hot showers/bath, just to vent out tension. So it should be decorated in such colours with which you are comfortable with. Bathroom is also a place where are alone and you regroup your thought process. Soft and Calm Colours do wondres. If you are one of those persons who use the bathroom for long, then I suggest try something with which you are comfortable with. There quiet a few colours that are good like peach, olive green, light/sea blue etc. You can get get matching bathroom Accessories.
Njoy....

Whatever colors make you feel good. Usually its best to keep it light. (I once had a friend with a completely black bathroom - not a pretty sight) Try looking in some decorating magazines and get a feel for what you like. Bathrooms are for resting and refreshing. What will do that for you? Good luck!

We had a decorator tell us that light colors are best unless you have a huge bathroom. Light colors make the room look bigger and give it a nice crisp, clean look. My own personal suggestion: Choose a color pallete that suites your taste and then try to find a light shade that works in your room. Just give some thought to accessories also and what your theme will be.

Since there isn't any window, use mirrors. A full sized one in front of vanity is good. Walls and ceilings in white or off white. Decorate walls with pictures. Pick a theme. If garden theme, choose pictures of flowers and birds. If ocean theme, choose pictures of fish, seashells or boats or beach. Another idea is to collect lots of seashells and either frame them up like a picture or glue them onto the walls. Buy towels and rugs in same theme. Make sure lighting is bright. Add some nice decor like plants, candles, figurines to cheer up the place.

If you have no window you need to keep it as light as possible either with light fixtures or with light colors. Your choice will be what you like in color but make it a lighter shade and maybe do a darker shade on one wall or a band around the mirrors or shower section.Momochromanic in beiges and tans and off whites would be best to make it look larger and also more like a spa look. You could do all white towels and they would look crisp. A white trim on the door facing and the whole vanity would look great also. Best wishes and have fun!

bathroom is a place to rejuvenate your mind and your body. it is where you unwind and relax. also where you let free of yourself. so, lighter color would set calming / zen tone.
white is quite, but, it is a little boring. we all need a little color in life, don't we? earth tone eg light, pale earthy green would help to set the mood. may use some Brown as an accent color. and white for accessories.
i see a bathroom with light green wall. with Brown wood picture frames on the wall. (there is no window to look out, so give your eyes something to look at) a brown wooden bench to sit on and for storage. and a clean white terry robe and lots of white towels.
Lovely

I like periwinke (bluish-purple, very light) with white trim and doors. It has a fresh but calming look. Add yellow accents in the spring and summer for a cheerful mood and dark purples, gold or even red in the winter to warm it up. If you haven't chosen a shower curtain yet, do that first. Then chose a favorite color from it.

I like the idea someone had of black and white with silver accents then use the towels to add colors. That really cool!
I was going to say blue or white. White tiles are best because you can tell they are clean. Any other color never quit looks clean.

Brown & 2 different shades of blue towels/accessories. Pretend the maroon doesnt exist. Its a terrible color for a bathroom.

Any color to me would work just as long as you like it. But if you get a dark color make sure you have plenty of lighting and some accessory colors to blend in.
